Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure platforms
- Lead migration projects for enterprise clients from on-premises to cloud environments
- Develop cloud governance frameworks and best practices
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines
- Present technical solutions to C-level stakeholders and executive committees
- Mentor junior architects and conduct peer code reviews
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture with AWS/Azure certifications
- Proven track record designing enterprise-grade solutions for 10,000+ user systems
- Expertise in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and container orchestration
- Strong analytical skills for complex problem-solving and system optimization
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments
- Ability to obtain security clearance if required for government projects
