Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure using Terraform/CloudFormation
- Automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/GitLab CI and Ansible
- Optimize cloud costs through resource monitoring and architecture improvements
- Implement security best practices (IAM, VPC, encryption, compliance frameworks)
- Provide 24/7 on-call rotation incident response and troubleshooting
- Document infrastructure architecture and create runbooks
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud-native solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) with 3+ years in DevOps
- Expertise in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting (Python/Bash)
- Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Azure Solutions Expert
- Strong knowledge of network fundamentals, DNS, and load balancing
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Eligible for US work authorization (visa sponsorship provided)
