Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/Azure/GCP infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Lead Kubernetes orchestration and containerization initiatives for microservices architecture
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Optimize cloud costs through architecture reviews and resource tagging strategies
- Implement security best practices including IAM policies, VPC design, and compliance frameworks
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer reviews of infrastructure code
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana) and alerting systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cloud infrastructure engineering with 3+ years in AWS/Azure/GCP environments
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration platforms
- Strong proficiency in at least one IaC tool (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
- Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP Certified Professional, CKAD, CKA)
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in incident response and root cause analysis
- Eligibility for US work authorization (visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates)
