Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP using Terraform, Kubernetes, and Ansible
- Lead migration projects from on-premise to cloud environments while ensuring 99.99% uptime
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI for automated deployments
- Conduct infrastructure cost optimization and security compliance audits
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and architectural reviews
- Collaborate with SRE teams to establish monitoring with Prometheus/Grafana
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure with 3+ years in AWS/GCP
- Expertise in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and container orchestration
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (VPC, DNS, load balancing)
- Experience with Python or Go for infrastructure automation
- Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Engineer)
- Proven track record of leading successful cloud migration projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills with complex distributed systems
