Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure platforms
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization and DevOps automation initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Conduct performance tuning and cost optimization of cloud environments
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Develop comprehensive documentation and runbooks for cloud systems
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering (AWS/Azure certification required)
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or similar programming languages
- Proven experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Background in designing high-availability distributed systems
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and communication abilities
