Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Lead containerization initiatives using Kubernetes and Docker for microservices deployment
- Optimize cloud costs through architecture reviews and resource monitoring
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Implement robust security protocols (IAM, VPC, encryption) for cloud environments
- Provide production support and incident response for critical cloud systems
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Expertise in at least one programming language (Python, Go, or Java)
- Strong foundation in networking, security, and distributed systems
- Certifications in AWS/GCP or Terraform preferred
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud spend and performance
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Ability to lead architectural design sessions and document complex systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
