Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/GCP/Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Automate cloud security protocols including IAM, VPC, and compliance frameworks
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments with Datadog, New Relic, or similar tools
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement Kubernetes orchestration (EKS, GKE)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Document architecture decisions and create runbooks for critical systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with AWS/GCP/Azure certifications
- Expertise in at least one programming language (Python, Go, or Node.js)
- Proven experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures
- Strong understanding of network security and compliance (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Experience with cloud cost optimization strategies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
