The Role
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will own the architecture and implementation of our core services. You will collaborate with a talented team of designers and developers to deliver products that exceed expectations.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-scale backend services and APIs using modern technologies.
- Architect resilient systems that ensure high availability and performance under load.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and architectural debt in real-time.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Proficiency in at least two modern languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, Node.js).
- Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a distributed remote team.
- Strong communication skills and English proficiency (fluent).
