Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-availability backend APIs and microservices using Python and Go.
- Lead the architecture for overnight database maintenance, optimization, and security patches.
- Collaborate with the product team to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and scalability.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex issues during off-peak hours.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
- Ensure data integrity and security compliance across all backend systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or Java.
- Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Ability to work effectively in a night shift environment (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
