Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend APIs and microservices using Python and Go.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and frontend engineers to define feature requirements.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices.
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of excellence.
- Optimize database performance and system architecture for scalability and speed.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement effective solutions.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from design to deployment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
- Deep knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
