Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end EV powertrain integration and validation cycles
- Optimize battery management systems for performance and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on autonomous driving prototypes
- Develop CAD models and conduct FEA simulations for component design
- Ensure compliance with UK/EU automotive safety standards (ISO 26262)
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years in automotive engineering with EV experience
- Proficiency in CATIA/SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Expert knowledge of battery systems and power electronics
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Valid UK driving license and clean record
- Proven project leadership experience in automotive R&D
