Responsibilities
- Model Development: Design, train, and fine-tune state-of-the-art machine learning models, specifically focusing on NLP and computer vision applications.
- Infrastructure: Build and maintain robust MLOps pipelines to ensure models are deployed, monitored, and scaled efficiently in production environments.
- Optimization: Continuously optimize model inference latency and accuracy to improve user experience and system performance.
- Research: Stay ahead of industry trends by conducting research on novel architectures and algorithms.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to define technical requirements.
- Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and data scientists, conducting code reviews and technical architecture discussions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering or data science.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and SQL. Deep understanding of machine learning libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn).
- Experience: Proven track record of deploying models to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and a passion for solving ambiguous problems with data-driven solutions.
