Responsibilities
- Architect Development: Design and build robust, scalable machine learning pipelines and infrastructure that support high-volume, low-latency applications.
- Model Optimization: Fine-tune and optimize complex models for deployment in edge environments and cloud-native architectures.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a team of junior data scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Strategy: Collaborate with product leads to define the AI product roadmap and translate business goals into technical specifications.
- Research: Stay ahead of industry trends, specifically in Generative AI and Large Language Models, to integrate cutting-edge solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: MS or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in machine learning engineering or applied AI research.
- Core Tech: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow, with deep experience in MLOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow).
- Cloud Expertise: Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex, unstructured problems with data-driven solutions.
