Responsibilities
- Conduct rigorous inspections and quality audits on aerospace components using provided specialized equipment.
- Develop and maintain Quality Assurance documentation, including AS9100 compliant reports.
- Identify and troubleshoot manufacturing defects to improve production processes.
- Train junior engineers and technicians on proper equipment usage and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with FAA and ISO standards.
- Lead root cause analysis investigations for non-conformance issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the aerospace or defense industry.
- Proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Experience with inspection tools and measurement equipment (provided).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-security environment.
