Responsibilities
- Install and maintain commercial/residential landscapes using advanced horticultural techniques
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, skid steers, and precision irrigation systems
- Lead crews in executing high-end design plans with strict attention to detail
- Implement sustainable practices including soil management and native plant integration
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure on-time delivery of seasonal contracts
- Conduct daily equipment safety inspections and maintenance protocols
- Train junior staff on best practices in landscape construction
Qualifications
- 3+ years professional landscaping experience with commercial projects
- Valid H2B visa eligibility or willingness to apply through sponsorship
- Commercial driver's license (CDL) Class B or willingness to obtain
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to complete
- Advanced proficiency in operating heavy landscaping machinery
- Knowledge of North Carolina plant species and seasonal growing cycles
- Ability to work 50+ hours weekly during peak season (March-August)
- English fluency with strong communication skills for crew leadership
