Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Assemble products and packages according to strict quality control standards.
- Perform routine cleaning and organization of workstations and storage areas.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production quotas and goals.
- Sort and label inventory items accurately for distribution.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to supervision.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor tasks.
- Valid H2B visa status or eligibility to work in the United States under a seasonal program.
- Basic math skills for reading labels and time tracking.
- Reliable transportation to the Baton Rouge facility.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
