Responsibilities
- Operate farm machinery (tractors, harvesters) for crop planting, cultivation, and harvesting
- Perform manual labor including pruning, weeding, and crop inspection
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and pesticide application guidelines
- Maintain farm equipment and report maintenance needs
- Assist in post-harvest processing and packaging
- Follow sustainable farming practices and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet production targets
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa eligibility or willingness to obtain sponsorship
- Minimum 2 years of commercial farming experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Basic English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Valid driver's license (for equipment operation)
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Availability for seasonal work (March-November)
- USDA pesticide handling certification (or willingness to obtain)
