Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and patient progress, documenting any changes immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, discharge instructions, and health maintenance.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff at all times.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States (or equivalent foreign credential with sponsorship eligibility).
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS as required by specialty.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Commitment to patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
