Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition or emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for both patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Mexico.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s preferred.
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required; other specialty certifications are a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening as part of our hiring process.
- Fluency in English required for visa sponsorship eligibility.
