Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care by assessing health status, administering medications, and implementing treatment plans under the supervision of physicians.
- Monitor patient conditions closely and document vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient status to ensure accurate medical records.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals including physicians, pharmacists, and therapists to develop and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and post-discharge care instructions to promote recovery and health literacy.
- Respond to medical emergencies efficiently and effectively, demonstrating critical thinking and quick decision-making skills.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and sterile environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered RN license to practice in the state of Florida (or eligibility for licensure).
- Valid Visa sponsorship eligibility (H1-B, Green Card, or Citizenship) for international applicants.
- BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS and CEN preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong English proficiency in verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
