Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate patient care and implement the nursing process (Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation).
- Monitor patient health status by performing physical examinations and documenting medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care services, reactions, and treatments using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Respond to emergencies and initiate appropriate life-saving measures when necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona or eligibility for licensure via endorsement.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is a plus.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required; CCRN preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
