Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, documenting all clinical findings accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on disease management, medication adherence, and post-discharge care.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other interdisciplinary staff to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- BSN preferred; Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing accepted.
- Certification in BLS and ACLS is required.
- Eligible to work in the United States or ability to obtain sponsorship.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to cultural competency in patient care.
