Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring vital signs and responding to medical emergencies with urgency and precision.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Document patient care plans, progress notes, and outcomes accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Implement infection control measures and maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and staff.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Louisiana (or eligible for licensure).
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, required for visa compliance.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
