Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physicians' orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to any changes in clinical condition or emergencies.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient medical records and care interventions.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting (preferred).
- Foreign-educated nurses must possess a valid CGFNS or equivalent credential evaluation.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and professional ethics.
- Eligibility to work in the United States (passport ready for international candidates).
