Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols and nursing standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation.
- Educate patients and families regarding disease prevention, health maintenance, and treatment plans.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations within the unit.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the US (or equivalent foreign credential).
- Foreign educated nurses must possess a valid CGFNS/ESL certification or passing score on NCLEX.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to patient safety and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Willingness to relocate to Buffalo, NY, and obtain US work authorization.
