Responsibilities
- Assess & Treat: Conduct comprehensive health assessments and administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Plan of Care: Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs and medical conditions.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members to ensure holistic patient care.
- Advocacy: Act as a patient advocate, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity during treatment.
- Education: Educate patients and families on disease management, health maintenance, and discharge instructions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) documenting patient progress and care provided.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations within the unit.
Qualifications
- License: Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States (or equivalent international license accepted for sponsorship).
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required; TNCC or CEN preferred.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Visa Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the USA and willing to undergo the visa sponsorship process.
- Skills: Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus for the Albuquerque market.
