Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care across diverse medical units with flexible shift scheduling
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions with precision and compassion
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, and state nursing regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education
- Provide mentorship to junior nursing staff during flexible team rotations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Louisiana or compact state eligibility
- BSN degree with 1+ years clinical nursing experience
- Valid BLS/CPR certification with ACLS preferred
- Exceptional communication skills and cultural competence
- Ability to adapt to flexible schedules including nights/weekends
- Eligibility for TN, H-1B, or other relevant visa categories
- Passion for serving underserved communities in New Orleans
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
