Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting and photonic qubits
- Develop quantum-classical hybrid system interfaces for enterprise applications
- Implement quantum error correction protocols achieving 99.9% fidelity
- Lead deployment of quantum networks across 5+ data centers
- Optimize cryogenic cooling systems for qubit coherence >100ms
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen encryption
- Mentor quantum engineering teams in emerging technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum hardware or quantum software architecture
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum control electronics
- Publication record in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum conferences
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC)
- Security clearance for DoD quantum projects preferred
