Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead hardware-software co-design initiatives for next-gen quantum processors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to commercialize quantum applications
- Publish 3+ high-impact research papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from federal/private institutions
- Mentor PhD candidates and lead quantum computing workshops
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Expertise in superconducting or ion-trap quantum systems
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum data analysis
- Proven track record of securing research funding
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
