Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for 2026-era computational challenges
- Lead quantum hardware-software co-design initiatives for error mitigation
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Secure $2M+ in annual research funding through NIH/NSF proposals
- Develop quantum-resistant encryption protocols for enterprise applications
- Collaborate with MIT/Stanford on quantum machine learning frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2018-2023)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm implementation experience
- Published work in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Track record of securing government research grants
