Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop and optimize error-correction protocols for scalable quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum algorithms with superconducting qubit systems
- Lead research publications in top-tier quantum computing journals and conferences
- Secure and manage research grants from government and industry partners
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design (e.g., Shor's, Grover's, VQE)
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion quantum processors
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding ($500K+ projects preferred)
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
