Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to calibrate quantum processors and error-correcting systems
- Lead breakthrough research in quantum cryptography and secure communication protocols
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international quantum conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum frameworks
- Develop roadmaps for quantum advantage in finance, pharmaceuticals, and logistics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical Python/R
- Published work in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical solutions
