Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design error correction protocols
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Secure $2M+ in DARPA/NIST grants for 2026 roadmap
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, CS, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years with quantum circuit simulation tools (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in topological quantum computing models
- Strong background in quantum error correction codes
- US citizenship required for government contracts
