Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Conduct experimental research on qubit coherence and error correction techniques
- Lead collaborative projects with hardware engineers to improve quantum processor performance
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks for classical computing environments
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at industry conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantum field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and complexity theory
- Publication record in quantum computing or high-performance computing
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary R&D environments
- Experience with low-level hardware-software integration for quantum systems
