Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum error correction algorithms
- Lead breakthrough research in fault-tolerant quantum architectures
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit stabilization techniques
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, Physical Review X)
- Secure $2M+ in government/industry research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Develop quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Published record in quantum error correction research
- Deep understanding of topological quantum computing models
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems
- Strong Python/C++ programming for quantum simulations
