Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-corrected quantum computing architectures using topological qubits
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum processors at millikelvin temperatures
- Create hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks for 2026-era applications
- Lead research on quantum-resistant cryptography for next-gen security protocols
- Publish findings in leading journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and secure external research funding
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Proficiency with superconducting qubit manipulation and control systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and quantum mechanics
- Experience with high-performance computing frameworks (HPC, MPI)
- Demonstrated ability to secure research grants and industry partnerships
