Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical computing stacks
- Publish research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE) and present at international conferences
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum solutions for finance, logistics, and healthcare
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants through DARPA/NSF proposals
- Mentor PhD interns and contribute to our quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles at graduate level
