Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Lead qubit stabilization projects achieving >99.9% fidelity
- Collaborate on quantum-resistant cryptography protocols
- Author 2+ peer-reviewed publications annually
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum error correction
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and APS conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Engineering
- 3+ years quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent frameworks
- Publication record in Nature/Science journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction techniques
- Strong background in linear algebra and topology
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems
- Clearance for DoD quantum research projects
