Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world optimization problems
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D teams in quantum error correction protocols
- Develop novel quantum machine learning frameworks for 2026-era AI systems
- Secure $1M+ research grants through NSF and DARPA partnerships
- Author peer-reviewed publications in Nature Physics and Science journals
- Advise Fortune 500 clients on quantum transition roadmaps
- Patent breakthrough quantum hardware-software interfaces
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum annealing or superconducting qubits
- Published research in quantum algorithms or error correction
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDK
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience securing federal research grants (DARPA/NSF preferred)
- Strong background in topological quantum computing theory
- Track record of translating quantum concepts into commercial applications
