Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications
- Develop quantum error correction techniques to achieve fault-tolerant computing by 2026
- Collaborate with hardware teams to validate quantum processor performance metrics
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning frameworks for enterprise deployment
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent disclosures for breakthrough innovations
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum computing projects
- Present findings at international quantum computing conferences and industry symposiums
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development using Qiskit, Cirq, or similar frameworks
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC codes)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature Quantum, PRL, etc.)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization techniques
- Experience with superconducting quantum processors or ion trap systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional technical teams
