Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography, materials science, and AI optimization
- Develop error-correction protocols to advance quantum coherence beyond current limitations
- Lead cross-functional teams to translate theoretical models into scalable quantum circuits
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at international quantum conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical computing infrastructures
- Secure and manage $5M+ research grants for experimental validation of quantum hypotheses
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years postdoctoral research
- Published work in quantum error correction or topological qubit systems
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit) and simulation frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic systems and superconducting qubit manipulation
