Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum error correction protocols
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Translate theoretical breakthroughs into scalable quantum applications
- Secure $5M+ in government and private research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers
- Advise product teams on quantum technology commercialization pathways
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with high-performance computing optimization
- Demonstrated success in securing competitive research funding
- Experience with quantum hardware interfaces (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
