Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Conduct advanced research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop quantum processors with 100+ qubit stability
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating quantum solutions with classical computing infrastructure
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Strong mathematical background in linear algebra, probability, and quantum mechanics
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks and HPC environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects and interdisciplinary teams
- Patent portfolio or significant open-source contributions in quantum computing
