Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems and machine learning applications
- Design and implement error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to calibrate and scale qubit arrays
- Lead research in post-quantum cryptographic standards for 2026 security frameworks
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature Physics, Science) and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum open-source initiatives
- Secure patents for breakthrough quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Publication record in quantum information science or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in quantum circuit design and simulation tools
- Expertise in at least one quantum hardware platform (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics principles
- Experience with high-performance computing environments
