Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead experiments on superconducting and trapped-ion quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to mitigate quantum decoherence and error correction challenges
- Publish research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.) and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Develop quantum software frameworks compatible with major cloud quantum services
- Mentor PhD interns and junior researchers through our Quantum Academy program
- Secure research grants from NSF, DARPA, and industry partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Python, Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# quantum programming languages
- Publication record in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and microwave control electronics
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and statistical mechanics
- Validated ability to lead complex R&D projects with cross-functional teams
