Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to overcome decoherence challenges in NISQ-era hardware
- Collaborate with hardware teams to calibrate and validate quantum processors at cryogenic temperatures
- Lead open-source contributions to quantum frameworks like Qiskit and Cirq
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature Physics/Quantum and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science through our industry-academia partnership
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and simulation using Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals or conferences
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with experience in high-performance computing environments
- Strong understanding of quantum error mitigation techniques and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental validation protocols
