Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world industrial applications
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects in partnership with NASA, Intel, and MIT
- Develop error-correction methodologies for quantum coherence maintenance
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent novel quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Present findings at global quantum summits including IEEE Quantum Week
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum annealing or superconducting qubits
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Cirq, Qiskit, D-Wave Ocean)
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing journals
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Clearance for DoD/NASA collaborative projects (US citizenship required)
