Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise clients
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum solutions for healthcare and logistics
- Author breakthrough research publications for Nature and IEEE journals
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum error correction and topology
- Secure $5M+ in federal and private research grants annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum error mitigation and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with high-performance computing environments (HPC, GPU clusters)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and information theory
- Experience securing government SBIR/STTR grants preferred
