Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical enterprise applications
- Lead quantum hardware optimization projects targeting 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with industry partners to define quantum computing roadmaps
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Mentor next-generation quantum researchers through our fellowship program
- Advise C-suite executives on quantum strategy implementation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in quantum algorithm development (Shor's, Grover's, VQE)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance techniques
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Cirq, Qiskit)
- Demonstrated success securing government or corporate research funding
- Strong background in superconducting qubit architectures or ion trap systems
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business strategy
