What You'll Achieve:

Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction frameworks for 100+ qubit systems
- Lead research into topological quantum computing and Majorana fermion manipulation
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge quantum software-hardware interfaces
- Secure $5M+ in government grants for quantum security initiatives
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information theory
- Author peer-reviewed publications and contribute to IEEE standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Published research in Nature/Science/Physical Review journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Expertise in quantum cryptography and post-quantum standards (NIST PQC)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and control electronics
- Strong Python/C++ programming with scientific computing libraries
- Track record of securing federal research grants
